Oswald West State Park - Oregon

 Just a short post while I'm getting videos and photo's downloaded and edited! This was a new area for me! Oswald West State Park on the northern central coast of Oregon. A fast day trip from Portland or upper Willamette Valley. Mom parked at the "beach Access" parking lot on the right side of 101 if your heading North. The Path starts at the north end of the parking lot and goes under 101 and out to the beach. Most everyone was taking the direct coastal trail so we took a little bit of a detour to see some of the sites and not so much of the crowd. We took the first trail to the left and down a bit to follow the creek out to the beach. Lots of older growth tree's, some beautiful views and a cool suspension (BOUNCY!!) bridge. I'm currently working on editing the video's and will be adding those to the YouTube channel soon! Will be adding more photo's as well once we get them all downloaded!

Welcome to my Wild Card Project!!

 Hi! My name is Ari and Welcome to my Wild Card project, where every week is a new adventure! What is the wild card project you ask? Each week I pull a random card out of the deck and then do what that card says. There are 3 different decks for 3 different categories: Outdoor adventure, All things food (gardening, cooking, grilling) and Arts/Crafts. So why am I doing this? I have ADHD and want to try a lot of different things (and satisfy my curiosity!). One of the points of this project is to push comfort zones and boundaries. To show that you don't have to be perfect at everything and that having fun is the name of the game!  Outdoor adventures can be anything from swimming with sharks to mt. biking or just a chill hike. It doesn't have to be hard to be fun! All things food could be anything from building a fire pit for BBQ days with friends and family, to cookies, breads and going out foraging to freak out friends (no, I will not be eating worms).
